Echelons Above Brigade Airspace Course (EABAC) Practice Exam

Air corridors are predefined, protected routes through airspace that are cleared for specific flight paths to minimize the risk of misidentification and friendly fire. They’re established through coordination with airspace control and firing authorities, and aircraft using the corridor follow assigned times and altitudes to keep traffic separated from friendly forces. This makes the term Air Corridor the best fit for a restricted air route whose purpose is to prevent friendly aircraft from being fired upon by friendly forces.

The other terms describe different concepts: a restricted operations zone is a broader restricted airspace with general access limitations; an air control point is a reference location used for airspace coordination; a CAS holding area is a temporary area for coordinating close air support missions, not a protected route through airspace.
